TL Consulting were engaged to define and develop test automation assets across several tier-1 critical emergency applications for a large government agency which included both Desktop GUI and Mobile devices. The client had little to no test automation usage or capability and most of the functional testing performed was manual and time inefficient. The client also had minimal support for End User Computing and engaged TL Consulting to apply test automation patching to uplift the QA capabilities across their end user test assets.

TL delivered a comprehensive automation roadmap & strategy with a recommendation on data-driven and hybrid frameworks. This was aligned to the client’s standards and DevOps best practices to enable CI/CD across their Cloud and on-Premises platforms.

Automated test reporting with Allure & Cypress API to provide fast feedback & insights to management teams and auditing into the applications stability

Highly accurate and efficient automation suite to execute the regression test cases under 1 hour (~100 test cases) as opposed to 2-day manual functional testing effort

Faster build-test-deploy cycles by integrating with TeamCity to automate the test pipeline which promoted continuous testing. This enabled more frequent build deployments per day (3+ daily)

Operationalised the test automation framework for the client’s QA team with the knowledge & capability to run automation scripts independently

Promoted daily runs of the automation suite to reduce the impact of maintenance overhead
